International education is a high priority in the College of Business and at Colorado State University through the many study abroad and exchange programs available to you through the Study Abroad Office. Studying abroad opens your eyes to the world, helps you learn how to thrive in different cultural environments, and makes you much more marketable when you graduate and begin looking for your first job.
Why Study Abroad?
Study abroad is a once-in-a-lifetime, life-changing opportunity with enormous benefits. Whether you wish to learn a new language, fulfill requirements of your major, or participate in an international internship, study abroad will set you apart from your peers, enhance your studies, and engage you as a citizen of the world. You will gain skills in cross-cultural communication, learn to think critically, and experience international business first-hand – all critical in today’s global economy.
What Can I Study?
College of Business students will find that there are many study abroad opportunities that relate to their areas of study. Some may focus on a particular field of study; others may have a broader curriculum. You may study in a foreign language or in English. Instructional offerings in English are plentiful – even in many non-English-speaking countries. Talk to your academic advisor about including study abroad in your degree program – you will find that many of the existing CSU-sponsored programs are great academic fits with courses and credits that will transfer into your degree program at CSU.
Where Can I Study?
CSU-sponsored and affiliated programs are offered in Africa and the Middle East, Asia, Europe/Eurasia, Latin America and the Caribbean, and Oceania. The
sample summer and
semester/academic year study abroad programs presented on this site may be of particular interest to a College of Business undergraduate or graduate student. If these programs do not suit your academic needs or interests, please consult your Academic Advisor and a Study Abroad Coordinator in the Study Abroad Office for more study abroad options.
