Center for the Advancement of Sustainable Enterprise
What is CASE?

For 150 years, America's research universities have been recognized globally as powerful and continuous creators of new knowledge and human capital, as well as exporters of intellectual capital. Recognizing the potential to become even more efficient engines of creation, dissemination, and practical application, leading institutions have begun to focus greater energy on taking technology and knowledge out of the academy and into the world. In 2009, Colorado State University created CASE - the Center for the Advancement of Sustainable Enterprise - to convert research and scientific discovery into actionable enterprise solutions that improve lives across the globe. Today, more than 4 billion people live lives characterized by grinding poverty. CASE brings the capacity to lift broad segmetns of that population to higher living standards, resulting in increased political stability, global prosperity, and environmental gains.

CASE's mission: To integrate knowledge across disciplines; to educate entrepreneurs; to incubate new ventures; and to grow sustainable enterprises in the United States and in the developing world.
